The myths of Wales and the Celtic world are weird and wonderful: women made of flowers, transformations from human to animal and back again, and giants whose ancient bones do not crumble but instead form the mountains that we walk upon today. Join award-winning storyteller Tamar Eluned Williams for a journey through the land of legend: songs and stories of the fantastical and tales that remind us of our roots in Ynys y Cedyrn; the Island of the Mighty of years gone by.

Tamar Eluned Williams tells stories in Welsh and English. Previous performances include Towersey Folk Festival, Green Man Festival, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru, Aberystwyth Storytelling Festival, Whitby Folk Week, Birmingham Book Festival, Tales in Trust at the National Centre for Folk Arts and the Society for Storytelling Gathering. She works in schools across South Wales using storytelling to boost oracy and literacy levels, and is creating a new show for Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival 2018, Three Around Three and the White Pony / Tri o Bob Tri a'r Ferlen Wen. She was awarded the Gwobr Esyllt Harker Award by Beyond the Border in 2016 and the national Young Storyteller of the Year award in 2013.
